Halal World Introduction in Denmark
Denmark is one of the major exporters of food products to the world and since "Halal" brand is a kind of permission of these products for Muslims. Therefore this country should be familiar with the process of receiving Halal certificate and its standard for these products.
Dr. Nahavabndian the Head of Islamic Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines discussed about "Halal" in different meetings with the authorities of Denmark Chamber, Denmark Industries Confederation, Deputy of Foreign Ministry, the Head of Denmark Trade Council, the Directors of Middle East, International affairs and also industrial activists of this country. He informed about necessities and the process of joining to Halal and he has also emphasized about holding the First International Halal Fair and Forum in Tehran on March 2-5, 2010 which is an opportunity for presenting of Denmark Companies in this Exhibition. | Halal World Brand in Cyprus
The first applicant food producer companies of Halal world brand in Cyprus were audited by experts and assessors of ICRIC. During a journey on Wednesday to Cyprus Dr. Karbasi, member of the Board of Director of ICIRC and Dr. Zehforoosh, representative of Halal World in Turkey visited producing processes of cheese and dairy products of two factories MERIC and AKGOL and discussed with their product managers about producing processes and additives. It was assigned that in case of being qualified of these factories for receiving Halal certification; these certifications will be award during a ceremony simultaneously with the First International Halal Fair and Forum in Tehran.

| Halal Certification Will BE Awarded to Two Austrian Companies
During a journey to Austria the Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines (ICCIM) ,Dr. Nahavandian ,will award Halal certification to two Austrian Companies by Dr. Fakhari, Executive Manager of ICRIC. According to Public Relation of Iran Chamber, the Head of ICCIM will travel to Austria on January 14, 2010.After visiting of economical authorities of this country, he wil award Halal food certification to Kilos Food Industries Complex and Ottakeringer Brewery Company.

| Cooperation of ECO Members on "Halal"
Dr. Nahavandian, the head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines (ICCIM) and the head of Islamic Chamber of Research and Information Center (ICRIC) attended in the 10th General Assembly and 13th Executive Committee Meetings of ECO Chamber of Commerce and Industry on December 23-24 , 2009 in Istanbul , Turkey. In the meetings and discussions he spoke about the importance of the "Halal" issue and he evaluated the achievements on compiling "Halal Food Standard" in COMCEC meetings of the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) with the presence of representatives of standard organizations of 30 Islamic countries in Turkey. | Executive Director of ICRIC visits New Zealand
New Zealand is one of the most important producers of meat and dairy productions to the different parts of the world among them Islamic countries. For this reason this country is a familiar name for the Muslims. This trade interaction has been caused that since 3 past decades, most of slaughter house engaged slaughtering according to Islamic laws regulations. | Confirmation of the Halal Standard in the 25th Session of COMCEC
Session of COMCEC (Standing Committee of the Economical and Commercial Cooperation of OIC) was being held with the presence of experts, foreign ministers and presidents of the OIC member states from 5-8th Nov.2009 in Istanbul, Turkey.
In this meeting in addition to confirmation of the issues in the field of different economical cooperation of member countries, the subject of the development of standards of Halal food productions which was prepared by "Standardization Expert Group" after months of studies, has already confirmed there.
The Session requested the OIC Secretary General to circulate the Report to the Member States for any additional comments and report back to the 26th Session of COMCEC for final consideration and adoption. Also, the session requested the SEG to propose details of the implementation mechanism of the Halal Food System.

| Iran and Turkey Cooperation on "Halal Food Standards"
Mr. Rajab Teyyeb Ordoghan, prime Minister of Turkey, visited Dr. Nahavandian at Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines. In this meeting they discussed about cooperation between two countries on Halal food standards while they were talking about the interesting economical issues of two countries . Dr. Nahavanidian presented a report of ICRIC's activities on Halal, and he mentioned excellent cooperation of two countries in the field of final edition of OIC Halal Food Standard Text. He has quoted Iran and ICRIC's readiness (Islamic Chamber Research and Information Center affiliated to Organization of Islamic Conference which its office located in Iran) to develop the cooperation.
In this meeting, Mr. Ordoghan while expressed his happiness of this report has taken necessary orders to his delegation for following up this cooperation. A copy of 'Halal Food Standard according to Common Bases of all Islamic Madhhabs'which was complied by ICRIC presented to Turkey Prime Minister.

| Holding the First Session of the Leading Committee of the Exhibition
The first session of the strategic and steering committee of the first International Halal Exhibition in Iran was held on 16/9/2009 in Iran-Tehran in Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines. In this meeting which were present the representatives from the Trade Development Organization, Agricultural Commission of Chamber, Aria Club, Association of the centers of food industries , ICRIC ( Islamic Chamber of Research and Information Center), and experts of International Affairs of the chamber and Iranian Fisheries Export Cooperative .
Dr. Mahdi Fakheri, International Deputy of Chamber, gave a summary of transferring license of holding exhibition by the responsible organization, to Iran Chamber of Commerce as the basic of economic organizations.

| Guidances of the Head of ICCIM about Holding International Exhibition and International Halal Seminar
nvolved persons for holding the First International Exhibition and Scientific Seminar on Halal food visited Dr. Nahavandian, the Head of ICCIM, and Mr. Mosadeghi, General Secretary of Chamber and then gave a report about stages of getting a license from Trade Development Organization, and holding leadership committee.
In this meeting which also Mr. Zahiri was present, Dr. Nahavandian said that he first should thank all of them for their efforts . Secondly we should invite all those who are related and involved with Halal to take any kind of responsibility. Thirdly we should help and support ICRIC as the world Halal leadership pioneer and forthly Iran Chamber should grant all of its support for better holding of this exhibition and seminar and finally no one should allow himself to weaken Halal leadership of Iran. He then added that by the grace of God the Islamic Development Bank is coming to help and support this movement and we should seize the opportunity for leadership of " Halalworld Brand".
